I'll explain to you the story of FerrumC, and where we are standing right now.
It all started when I was a kid, just 15 at the time, working on Hypixel Skyblock back in 2022 and 2023. I've always been a curious kid, so naturally, looking at all the hype with Rust (the programming language), I thought why not try it out.
But oh boy... was I in for the ride. Coming from java, it was one of the hardest things I had tried. I tried using ChatGPT, gpt-3.5 at the time, it was pretty stupid but still helped me a little. I slowly but surely learnt basic rust, print to the console, take input, etc.
Then one day, I suddenly thought, "hmm... i love minecraft so much, why not try to remake the entire server in rust considering it's a super fast and safe language?", so it all started.
"Could anyone help me with the status, ping, pong requests?"
